Imerys wins EUR 116 million EU Innovation Fund grant for EMILI lithium conversion plant
XLB•EU grant supports EMILI lithium project in central France
Imerys secured a EUR 116 million grant from the EU Innovation Fund for its EMILI lithium project in central France.
The funding targets construction of EMILI’s lithium conversion plant in Saint-Victor under the “Clean Tech Manufacturing” call.
The project aims to extract and refine lithium from the Beauvoir deposit to supply enough material for 700,000 electric vehicles a year.
