ImmunityBio names former World Bank chief Jim Yong Kim vice chairman

ImmunityBio named former World Bank President Jim Yong Kim as vice chairman, joining a newly created Office of the Executive Chairman.

Kim will focus on international relationships, targeting governments, health ministries, multilateral institutions and global health partners to support access outside the US.

He will report to Executive Chairman Patrick Soon-Shiong.

Kim led the World Bank from 2012 to 2019, previously co-founded Partners In Health, ran WHO’s HIV/AIDS department and served as Dartmouth College president.
