July 20 (Reuters) - Indiana Michigan Power:
- Indiana Michigan Power seeks IURC approval to build a 1,520 MW natural gas combined cycle facility at the Rockport site.
- The Rockport Energy Center project is expected to be operational in summer 2030.
- The project is expected to create about 1,200 construction jobs and 30-40 ongoing operational roles.
- Indiana Michigan Power expects an IURC decision on the Rockport Energy Center CPCN in early 2027.
