Infineon agrees to acquire C2i Semiconductors

Infineon plans to acquire Bangalore-based C2i Semiconductors to expand power-management technology for AI data centers.

The deal adds C2i’s software-defined multiphase controllers, smart power stages, digital energy management, and vertical power architectures such as SIVR.

The transaction is expected to close in Q3 2026.

The acquisition also strengthens Infineon’s R&D footprint in India, where it employs about 2,800 people.
