Australian tech firm Infront Systems has launched Opess, a managed cloud governance and FinOps service combining its AI-powered opess.one platform with certified specialists to automate policy enforcement, cost transparency and continuous compliance across AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud under the new Whole-of-Government Cloud Computing Policy.
Infront Systems introduced Opess on June 30, 2026, to help Australian Government agencies comply with the Whole-of-Government Cloud Computing Policy by providing a managed service that integrates FinOps expertise and its AI-driven opess.one platform.
Opess combines certified FinOps specialists with opess.one, which normalizes billing, configuration and usage data across AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, automates policy enforcement, governance reporting and continuous compliance monitoring.
By offering an operational governance model covering major cloud platforms, Infront expects to streamline cost transparency and security assurance for regulated organizations, potentially increasing uptake of Microsoft Azure services in the public sector.
