Ingersoll Rand names Scott Watson, Shaun Carlson as group presidents
IR•Ingersoll Rand named Scott Watson and Shaun Carlson senior vice presidents and group presidents. The appointments follow Mike Weatherred's planned retirement; he will advise the company through May 2028, and a new employment agreement extends Vicente Reynal's leadership as chairman and CEO.
1. Leadership appointments
Scott Watson will oversee Industrial Technologies and Services North America and EMEIA, after leading the Life Science Technologies platform. Shaun Carlson will lead Precision and Science Technologies, after heading the Precision Technologies platform.
2. Retirement and agreement
The appointments follow Mike Weatherred's planned retirement. He will serve as an adviser supporting commercial and other projects through May 2028. A new employment agreement extends Vicente Reynal's leadership as chairman and CEO.
