Mentari merger expected to bring in USD 490 million

InMed says it is set to merge with Mentari Therapeutics under an agreement signed May 19, 2026, subject to shareholder approval.

The combined company is expected to receive about USD 490 million in gross proceeds from Mentari’s pre-closing financing, including USD 50 million from convertible notes.

The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.

InMed’s shares closed up about USD 0.68, a 99.8% gain versus the close before the merger agreement was first disclosed.
