INmune Bio adds Sanofi rare-disease executive Duane Clark, dealmaker James Sapirstein to board

INmune Bio added R. Duane Clark II, Sanofi’s general manager, U.S. rare diseases, to its board as it prepares Ebstrocel commercialization.

Clark has more than 40 years in pharma, including rare-disease launches, market access, M&A integration, and sales and marketing leadership.

James Sapirstein also joined the board, bringing more than 40 years in biopharma business development, licensing, commercialization, financing, and public-company leadership.

Sapirstein held senior roles at Gilead, Bristol Myers Squibb, Roche, Eli Lilly, and Serono. He also founded Tobira, which was acquired by Allergan for up to $1.7 billion.
