The companies also plan a partnership spanning go-to-market coordination, joint work on AI-driven connectivity and 6G, and customer pilots.
Transaction aims to expand revenue and carrier reach
The transaction is being pitched as doubling revenue, expanding Tier-1 carrier relationships, and broadening the 5G FWA portfolio across enterprise and consumer markets.
Inseego outlines Nokia fixed wireless access acquisition plan
Inseego outlined a deal to acquire Nokia’s global fixed wireless access business, described as about a USD 200 million run-rate operation.
Consideration is set at USD 20 million in Inseego equity; Nokia is also expected to add a USD 10 million direct investment, taking an 11% stake.
