Maplebear to wind down Caper Cart operations
CART•Maplebear will wind down Caper Cart operations, expecting $55 million to $80 million in pretax charges, primarily in the fourth quarter of 2026. The wind-down is expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2027.
1. Wind-down costs
Maplebear expects $21 million to $36 million in contractual termination charges and $30 million to $50 million of charges to result in future cash expenditures. The company said restructuring costs will be excluded from adjusted EBITDA.
