Intensity Posts 5/7 Complete Responses in Phase 2 TNBC Trial; Swiss Approval to Resume Q3 Enrollment
INTS•Intensity Therapeutics’ Phase 2 INVINCIBLE-4 trial in triple-negative breast cancer reported complete responses in five of seven versus two of six controls and 44% fewer high-grade adverse events; Swiss approval will restart enrollment in Q3 2026. Resumed Phase 3 soft tissue sarcoma enrollment and held 20 BIO 2026 partnering talks.
1. Late-Stage Clinical Progress
Intensity advanced INT230-6 in its Phase 2 INVINCIBLE-4 triple-negative breast cancer trial, reporting five of seven pathological complete responses versus two of six in the control arm with 44% fewer grade 3+ adverse events. Swissmedic and Swiss Ethics Committee approval in March enables enrollment to restart in Switzerland and France in Q3 2026, while U.S. sites have resumed patient dosing in the Phase 3 INVINCIBLE-3 soft tissue sarcoma study with overall survival as the primary endpoint.
2. Peer-Reviewed Data and Regulatory Updates
Over 200 patients have enrolled across completed INT230-6 programs, including a Phase 1/2 dose escalation in metastatic cancers and a randomized Phase 2 in locally advanced breast cancer. A peer-reviewed eBioMedicine publication detailed disease control, survival outcomes in select patient subsets and evidence of systemic immune engagement with abscopal effects, and additional clinical data publications are expected in the second half of 2026.
3. Strategic Partnering and Financial Position
During H1 2026, Intensity held more than 20 partnering discussions at the BIO International Convention with regional and global pharmaceutical firms, underscoring interest in INT230-6 as a differentiated oncology platform. The company also strengthened its balance sheet to support disciplined clinical development and preserve flexibility for potential licensing or collaboration agreements aimed at accelerating commercialization.
