International Bancshares posted net income of $198 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026, up 0.5%, with diluted EPS rising 0.6% to $3.18.
Quarterly results and balance sheet trends
Second-quarter net income fell 4.3% to $95.8 million, with diluted EPS down 4.3% to $1.54 versus the prior-year quarter.
Results reflected higher interest earned on investment and loan portfolios, with net interest income also helped by lower interest expense on a redistribution in deposit rates.
Total assets increased to about $17 billion at June 30, 2026; net loans climbed to about $9.7 billion, while deposits rose to about $12.7 billion.
