International Money Express posted Q2 net income of USD 4.21 million, down 61.8%, as revenue fell 18.6% to USD 131.16 million.
Operating income dropped 55.0% to USD 8.75 million, hit by lower retail remittance volume in the U.S.-to-Latin America and Caribbean corridor.
Adjusted EBITDA (non-GAAP) slid 39.9% to USD 17.33 million.
Six-month performance and deal update
Six-month net income declined 75.0% to USD 4.72 million, while revenue decreased 17.1% to USD 253.11 million.
Intermex expects to close its pending Western Union deal as soon as practicable, subject to remaining regulatory approval.
