Wiens was most recently CFO of Asante Gold since August 2023, leading more than $1 billion of financings; he previously served as CFO at Bunker Hill Mining.
Parrow most recently ran Kinross Gold’s Fort Knox and Manh Choh operations as vice president and general manager, following senior operating roles on the Manh Choh project.
Leadership changes take effect in August and July
International Tower Hill Mines named David Wiens chief executive officer, effective Aug. 17, 2026; he will join the board on the same date.
Shane Parrow was appointed president and chief operating officer, effective July 27, 2026; he also joined the board.
Outgoing CEO Karl Hanneman will transition to strategic advisor while remaining a director.
