Investar Holding Corporation posted net income of $9.47 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, more than doubled from $4.49 million a year earlier.

Net interest margin widened to 3.67% from 3.03%, reflecting higher yields on interest-earning assets and lower overall funding costs.
Total loans increased 40.6% to $3.06 billion, while deposits grew 36.7% to $3.21 billion, driven primarily by the WFB acquisition completed Jan. 1, 2026.
Nonperforming loans rose to 0.63% of total loans from 0.43%, while the allowance for credit losses totaled $36.25 million, or 1.18% of loans.
