INWIT says Fastweb+Vodafone has no tower access agreement beyond March 2031
VOD•INWIT says no agreement allows Fastweb+Vodafone to access its towers beyond March 31, 2031, contradicting Swisscom's claim that access during migration could extend to at least 2040. It is seeking a binding schedule for releasing sites.
1. Tower access deadline
INWIT disputes Fastweb+Vodafone's proposed early termination of the master service agreement in March 2028, which remains subject to litigation. Under the agreement, sites must be returned fully vacated by March 31, 2031, following an agreed plan lasting at least three years.
2. Release schedule sought
INWIT says no agreement permits Fastweb+Vodafone to remain beyond the 2031 deadline, contradicting Swisscom's claim of tower access during migration extending to at least 2040. The tower operator is seeking an immediate, binding site-release schedule so it can remarket the assets. TIM's proposed tower joint venture with Fastweb+Vodafone remains at an early stage and is subject to regulatory approvals.
