IonQ completed its acquisition of U.S. semiconductor foundry SkyWater Technology, adding domestic chip fabrication and advanced packaging capabilities.
SkyWater will operate as a subsidiary under its existing name, led by CEO Thomas Sonderman reporting to IonQ CEO Niccolo de Masi.
SkyWater shareholders receive $15 in cash and 0.4883 shares of IonQ common stock per SkyWater share.
The combined company plans a second-quarter earnings call on Aug. 5, 2026, followed by an investor day on Sept. 8, 2026.
