Iran in close contact with mediators on seven-day plan, foreign minister says
USO•Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said Tehran remained in close contact with intermediaries on a proposal to end the Middle East war, which he said could be completed in less than a week if implemented.

He has said the proposal could reopen the Strait of Hormuz if certain conditions were met; U.S. President Donald Trump rejected it, prompting further Qatari mediation.
