Iran reportedly says Strait of Hormuz will not reopen until conditions are met
USO•Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf reportedly said the Strait of Hormuz will not reopen until seven conditions in a June interim agreement with the United States are met.
1. Iran sets reopening conditions
Qalibaf said the Strait of Hormuz would remain closed until Iran’s seven conditions, based on the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, are met. He said the United States had recently made proposals through a mediator after receiving Tehran’s diplomatic proposal.
