Iridium Communications announces special shareholder meeting on Rocket Lab merger deal

Iridium Communications will hold a special shareholder meeting on Sept. 24, 2026, in connection with its proposed merger with Rocket Lab.

Shareholders will vote on approving the merger transactions that would make Iridium an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Rocket Lab.

The deal structure includes an initial merger into Iridium, followed by a second-step merger into a Rocket Lab subsidiary.

Closing remains targeted for mid-2027, subject to shareholder approval and other remaining conditions.
