1. ISG Launches Comprehensive Semiconductor Services Study
Information Services Group, trading under the Nasdaq symbol III, today announced the commencement of its ISG Provider Lens® Semiconductor Industry — Services and Solutions research series, with results scheduled for publication in June 2026. The study will evaluate more than 140 service providers across four key quadrants—Design, Test and Verification; Manufacturing and Engineering; Supply Chain and Procurement; and Technology Transformation and Consulting. ISG’s global advisory team of 1,600 professionals will integrate empirical survey data with real-world client experiences to rank providers based on criteria such as performance optimization, automation capabilities and sustainability guardrails. The reports will cover offerings in North America, Europe and global markets, enabling semiconductor firms to benchmark current vendors and identify new partners to build resilient supply chains and advanced manufacturing operations.
2. Strategic Implications for Investors and Clients
III’s latest research initiative underscores its position as a trusted advisor to more than 900 enterprises, including 75 of the world’s top 100, and highlights the firm’s growing influence in the semiconductor ecosystem. By spotlighting trends such as 3D stacking, chiplet-based design and energy-efficient production, the study will provide investors with data-driven insights into service providers best positioned to capture rising demand fueled by electrification, AI, 5G/6G and autonomous vehicles. ISG advisors will leverage the findings to refine recommendations for buy-side clients, while enterprise buyers can use the quadrant assessments to negotiate contracts, manage risks associated with geopolitical uncertainty and align technology roadmaps with long-term manufacturing and supply-chain resilience goals.
