Itaú Unibanco to redeem R$ 1.4 billion of perpetual Tier 1 subordinated notes on July 15, 2026
ITUB•Redemption of perpetual Tier 1 notes
Itaú Unibanco Holding will exercise its call option on July 15, 2026 to repurchase all perpetual “Letras Financeiras Subordinadas Nível 1”.
- The buyback covers R$ 1.4 billion of the instruments issued between Jan. 8 and Jan. 16, 2019.
- The estimated impact on the company’s Tier 1 capital ratio is 0.1 percentage point, based on March 31, 2026 capital.
