1. First-half results
J-Star Holding reported a $1.57 million net loss for the six months ended June 30, 2026, which management primarily attributed to approximately $1.1 million in share-based compensation that increased administrative expenses. Revenue declined 36.1% to $6.77 million, and gross margin narrowed to 14.2% from 26.9%, primarily reflecting lower bicycle component sales, the expiration of two service contracts and the loss of higher-margin service revenue. Racket revenue increased 6.7% to $6.05 million, accounting for 89.4% of revenue as management redirected capital toward higher-demand products.
