Jabil opened a next-generation Intelligent Logistics Hub in Penang, Malaysia, expanding supply chain and back-end operations capacity.
The facility spans about 417,000 square feet in Valdor Industrial Park, Sungai Jawi, and uses AI-enabled systems to streamline inventory and tracking.
The hub adds automation infrastructure including autonomous robots, automated storage and retrieval, cross-docking, and just-in-time delivery to production lines.
The investment targets higher product complexity and capacity demand, seeking improved resilience amid supply chain volatility and rising logistics costs.
