Jackson CEO Laura Prieskorn plans to retire at the end of 2026.
EVP and CFO Don Cummings will become president and CEO on Oct. 1, 2026, and will join the board.
Cummings joined Jackson in 2020 as chief accounting officer and controller; he was promoted to CFO in 2024 and previously served as interim CFO at Fortitude Re.
Brian Walta will take over as EVP and CFO on Oct. 1, 2026. He joined Jackson in 1997 and has led hedging, ALM and capital modeling.
Prieskorn will remain as an adviser through Dec. 31, 2026.
