James Hardie reports 18% cut in Scope 1+2 emissions vs FY22 in FY2026 sustainability report

James Hardie released its annual sustainability report, Building a Resilient Future, outlining refreshed ESG goals following the AZEK combination.

• FY2026 Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse-gas emissions fell 18% versus FY2022, tracking a 42% reduction target by FY2031.
• Process waste diversion reached 240 million pounds, supporting a zero process-waste-to-disposal goal by FY2036.
• The safety plan maintained a three-year, USD 75 million infrastructure upgrade program under its Zero Harm initiative.
• Community support included donations of more than 850,000 square feet of products for disaster-impacted families.
