Jane Street committed $6 billion to CoreWeave’s AI cloud platform and separately invested $1 billion at $109 per share, totaling a $7 billion deal. This marks CoreWeave’s third major partnership in April after a $21 billion Meta agreement and a multi-year Anthropic compute contract.

1. Jane Street Commits $7 Billion to CoreWeave

Jane Street has agreed to a multi-year $6 billion commitment for access to CoreWeave’s AI cloud infrastructure across multiple data centers, including dedicated connectivity, custom storage configurations and Nvidia Vera Rubin systems. The trading firm also secured a $1 billion equity stake at $109 per share, a 7% discount to the previous close, making it one of CoreWeave’s five largest shareholders.

2. Third Major Deal This Month

This transaction follows a $21 billion capacity supply agreement with Meta through 2032 and a separate multi-year compute deal supporting Anthropic’s Claude AI models, marking three headline partnerships for CoreWeave in April. These deals underscore the company’s accelerating momentum in securing marquee AI workloads.

3. Strategic Impacts for CoreWeave

The Jane Street arrangement contributes to diversifying CoreWeave’s customer base beyond Microsoft, which accounted for roughly 70% of revenue last year, and bolsters its high-performance software offerings. CoreWeave shares have gained about 64% since January, reflecting investor optimism around its expanding enterprise relationships and platform capabilities.
