TOKYO, Sept. 24 (Reuters) - Japan's 10-year government bond (JGB) yield jumped to a 30-year high early on Thursday after US Treasury yields surged overnight, while a weaker yen added to concerns about inflationary pressures.

- The benchmark 10-year JGB yield JP10YTN=JBTC rose 8 basis points (bps) to 3.055%, its highest since August 1996. Yields move inversely to bond prices.
- The 30-year yield JP30YTN=JBTC rose 5.5 bps to 4.125%.
