Jardine Matheson releases 2026 half-year analyst presentation on strategy, portfolio review
Capital returns and half-year results
Jardine Matheson launched a new US$500 million share buyback, following completion of a US$250 million program in June 2026.
For H1 2026, adjusted underlying net profit rose 9% and reported net profit was US$542 million, up 3%. The interim dividend was lifted 8% to US$0.65 a share, and full-year dividend guidance was raised to ≥US$2.47 a share.
Half-year strategy and portfolio review
Jardine Matheson said its 2026 half-year analyst presentation covered strategy and portfolio review, including a target of ≥9% annualized 5-year total shareholder return backed by ≥US$4 billion in capital recycling through 2030.
The company also set a dividend growth target of ≥5% a year to 2030 from 2026 onwards.
