JAZZ•Jazz Pharmaceuticals said updated Phase 3 results showed Ziihera plus chemotherapy cut death risk by 24% versus trastuzumab plus chemotherapy in first-line HER2-positive advanced gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma.
Jazz Pharmaceuticals presented updated Phase 3 survival results for Ziihera in first-line HER2-positive advanced gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma at ESMO 2026. Ziihera with chemotherapy significantly improved overall survival versus trastuzumab with chemotherapy.
Adding tislelizumab sustained survival benefits versus trastuzumab with chemotherapy but did not significantly improve survival over Ziihera with chemotherapy. Safety profiles remained unchanged with longer follow-up. The FDA cleared both Ziihera regimens on August 25, 2026, for first-line treatment in specified HER2-positive patient groups.
