JetBlue Adds Eight Routes to Fort Lauderdale, Boosts FLL Flights by 75%
JBLU•JetBlue will operate over 125 daily departures from Fort Lauderdale to 55 nonstop destinations after adding eight new routes today and six more scheduled this year. The airline’s FLL departures have risen over 75% year-over-year, and it plans roughly 150 daily flights this winter.
1. FLL Schedule Expansion
JetBlue added eight nonstop routes today from Fort Lauderdale to Baltimore, Charlotte, Cleveland, Nashville, Detroit, Houston, Chicago and Ponce, boosting its daily departures at FLL to over 125 across 55 nonstop destinations.
2. Capacity Growth
Daily departures from Fort Lauderdale have increased more than 75% year-over-year, with current operations exceeding 125 flights per day and forecasts pointing to approximately 150 daily flights this winter.
3. Upcoming Route Launches
Six additional nonstop services to Indianapolis, San Diego, Columbus, Cali, Barranquilla and Caracas are slated to begin between October and November, further enhancing JetBlue’s South Florida network.
4. Community Investment
The JetBlue Foundation allocated $130,000 in grants this year to South Florida organizations supporting STEM education and youth development, underscoring the airline’s commitment to local communities.
