JetBlue and United begin cash, points, and miles sales of Blue Sky itineraries across both websites and apps, allowing customers to book either airline’s flights directly. This integration expands JetBlue’s distribution through United’s global network and adds United flights to JetBlue Vacations packages, broadening potential revenue channels.

1. Blue Sky Cash Booking Launch

Starting this week, Blue Sky allows JetBlue and United customers to purchase eligible itineraries operated by either carrier directly through JetBlue.com, United.com, and mobile apps using cash, TrueBlue points, or MileagePlus miles.

2. Network and Revenue Implications

The integration grants JetBlue access to United’s extensive domestic and global footprint, while United taps into JetBlue’s leisure markets, expanding distribution channels that could drive incremental ticket sales and enhance loyalty program engagement.

3. Vacation Packages Expansion

United flights are now included in JetBlue Vacations flight+hotel offerings with cruise packages coming soon, unlocking new international destinations such as Japan, Brazil, Italy, and Greece for JetBlue’s packaged-travel customers and diversifying revenue streams.

4. Future Collaboration Enhancements

Additional benefits arriving in 2026 and beyond include reciprocal loyalty perks like priority boarding and same-day changes, migration of MileagePlus Travel to Paisly’s platform, and access to seven daily United roundtrips at JFK Terminal 6 by 2027.
