JFrog Launches Agent Skills Registry with NVIDIA OpenShell Integration for Secure AI Agents
JFrog launched its Agent Skills Registry, integrated with NVIDIA OpenShell and AI-Q Blueprint, to scan, verify, and govern AI agent skills and models across the software supply chain. The platform uses Artifactory as a centralized system of record, enforcing policy-driven approval workflows and security gates for agentic binary assets.
1. Product Launch and Features
The JFrog Agent Skills Registry provides a verifiable trust layer for AI agents by scanning, verifying, and signing skills and models upon upload. Built on JFrog Artifactory, the registry governs AI assets across the software supply chain to prevent unvetted or malicious behaviors.
2. NVIDIA Integration
The registry is validated through early integration with NVIDIA OpenShell runtime and certified for NVIDIA AI-Q Blueprint lifecycle management. NVIDIA cuOpt serves as the first example of a packaged, verified skill distributed via this workflow.
3. Security and Governance
The platform enforces policy-driven approval workflows and security gates within a centralized control plane, enabling organizations to set strict access rules, audit provenance, and block assets with vulnerabilities or malicious intent.
4. Enterprise Impact
By centralizing agentic workflows and automating compliance controls, JFrog aims to reduce enterprise risk, support long-running AI agents at scale, and accelerate adoption of its software supply chain platform in regulated environments.
