JinkoSolar’s Tiger Neo 3.0 Secures A+ Shading Score, Offers 16–17% Higher Output and Hail Resistance
JKS•JinkoSolar’s Tiger Neo 3.0 modules achieved TÜV Rheinland “A+ Shading Score” under PfG 2926/05.25, delivering up to 16% higher output than Back Contact and 17% over TOPCon under shading. Modules also passed VKF hail resistance tests with 30 mm and 40 mm ice-ball impacts, exceeding IEC 61215 requirements.
1. TÜV Rheinland A+ Shading Verification
Tiger Neo 3.0 modules underwent the PfG 2926/05.25 shading test and earned the highest “A+ Shading Score” from TÜV Rheinland. The evaluation highlighted JinkoSolar’s quarter-cut cell architecture and optimized circuits that minimize mismatch losses and stabilize energy generation under partial shading conditions.
2. Enhanced Power Output Advantages
Independent testing confirmed that Tiger Neo 3.0 delivers up to 16% more power than Back Contact (BC) modules and up to 17% more than conventional TOPCon modules in the same shading scenarios. These improvements translate into higher energy yield and stronger project economics for utility, commercial and residential installations.
3. VKF Hail Resistance Certification
The modules passed VKF Prüfbestimmung Nr. 25 advanced hail tests using 30 mm and 40 mm ice balls, surpassing the basic IEC 61215 standard. This mechanical robustness under severe weather conditions enhances reliability and may reduce maintenance and warranty costs in regions prone to hailstorms.
