Construction is scheduled to begin in March with full completion targeted for late next year. The expansion aims to increase production capacity for Meow Mix, Milk-Bone and other brands, while adding collaboration and meeting spaces for employees.

In Q2 fiscal 2026, the US retail pet-food segment delivered $413.2 million in net sales, down 7% year-over-year, with segment profit rising 2% to $124.4 million. JM Smucker updated its full-year adjusted EPS forecast to $8.75–$9.25.
