J.W. Mays promotes Kevin J. Guptar to CFO and treasurer
MAYS•J.W. Mays promoted Kevin J. Guptar to chief financial officer and treasurer on October 13, 2026. He succeeds Ward Lyke, Jr., who retired on September 25, 2026.
1. Leadership change
Guptar became principal financial officer and principal accounting officer when Lyke retired. He joined J.W. Mays as controller in November 2021, after serving as controller of a private real estate partnership from 2017 to 2021.
