Kandi subsidiary China Battery Exchange wins follow-on CATL order for heavy-truck battery swap stations
KNDI•Kandi Technologies said its China Battery Exchange unit won a second equipment order from CATL subsidiary QIJI Energy for heavy-truck battery swap stations, two months after its initial order.
1. Second equipment order
The order extends a three-year strategic supply deal signed in January 2026 for QIJI Energy’s heavy-truck battery-swapping program. China Battery Exchange’s Lin’an plant began production in July 2026 and is targeting annual capacity of up to 200 swap stations.
