Kandi Technologies Expands to 35 Countries with Six South Africa Dealers
KNDI•Kandi Technologies’ off-road vehicle business now serves 35 countries across Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Latin America, with six authorized dealers in South Africa and orders from partners in Nigeria. Region-specific distribution, localized marketing and new H2 2026 model launches aim to boost global recurring revenue.
1. Expansion into 35 International Markets
Kandi Technologies’ off-road vehicle lineup is now sold in 35 countries across Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and Latin America, building on robust North American demand and marking a strategic shift from volume-driven sales to order expansion and brand localization.
2. Africa Strategy and Dealer Orders
South Africa has become an anchor market with six authorized dealers and localized product development; recent distributor visits finalized H2 2026 production schedules and yielded on-site orders, while a Nigerian dealer placed follow-on orders for the 1104FQ3 golf cart and plans branded showrooms and after-sales networks.
3. Southeast Asia and Latin America Partnerships
In Southeast Asia, a Laos resort operator test-drove Kandi’s full product lineup and is evaluating initial sample orders for golf carts and shuttle vehicles. In Latin America, dealers from Panama and Argentina visited the Hainan facility, placed on-site orders and discussed regional distribution and localized customization opportunities.
4. H2 2026 Model Launches and Branding
Under CEO Feng Chen’s dual-track strategy, Kandi will roll out regionally-customized models and sports-and-leisure marketing initiatives in the second half of 2026, aiming to boost recurring revenue contributions from emerging international markets.
