Karyopharm signed a forbearance agreement on Sept. 10, 2026 with term-loan lenders, noteholders and royalty investors to delay enforcement on specified defaults.
The company missed a USD 15.8 million term-loan principal installment due Sept. 10 and does not expect to pay cash interest due Sept. 30.
Forbearance timeline and potential consequences
The forbearance runs to Oct. 15, 2026 unless terminated earlier.
If the agreement is terminated, overdue amounts would become immediately payable in cash and could be accelerated.
