Kazakhstan cuts oil output outlook after CPC attacks

ASTANA, Aug 25 (Reuters) - Kazakhstan is set to lose 3.5 million tonnes of oil from its production outlook due to Ukrainian drone attacks on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) facilities, the Central Asian country's energy minister said on Tuesday.

Kazakhstan had planned to produce 98 million tonnes of oil in 2026, and had now revised down its plan to 96 million tonnes, the minister, Yerlan Akkenzhenov, told a news briefing.
