ASTANA, July 23 (Reuters) - Oil companies in Kazakhstan have reduced daily oil production due to suspension of operations at the exporting terminal of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) over safety reasons, Kazakhstan's energy ministry said on Thursday.
It said consultations are ongoing between the ministry, oil producers, CPC, ship owners and administrative state bodies in order to resume stable oil exports from Kazakhstan in the nearest future.
