Kazakhstan Signs $8.6B AI Data Centre Valley Deal with Nvidia Support

Nvidia will provide its AI computing technology for a 1-gigawatt Data Centre Valley project under binding agreements worth $8.6 billion. The contracts involve Kazakhstan’s Ministry of AI and Digital Development and Firebird to develop advanced AI infrastructure powered by Nvidia GPUs.
2. Infrastructure and Timeline
The initiative forms part of Kazakhstan’s national strategy for digital transformation, with plans to establish Firebird Labs Kazakhstan at the Alem.AI centre in Astana. The partners target a 2027 launch, aiming to significantly expand regional AI computing capacity.
