KBR Purifier technology wins contract for Pampa Energía ammonia-urea complex in Argentina
KBR•Contract for new ammonia-urea complex
KBR won a technology contract from Pampa Energía for its Purifier ammonia process at a new ammonia-urea complex in Argentina.
The scope includes technology licensing, a basic engineering design package, and proprietary equipment for a 3,430 tons-per-day ammonia plant.
The Bahía Blanca facility is expected to start operations by the end of 2029.
The project is slated to be Latin America’s largest single-train ammonia plant once completed.
