KBR Wins Management Contract for 38B-Barrel Majnoon Oil Field in Iraq
KBR secured an Integrated Field Management Services contract with Basra Oil Company to optimize reservoir performance and modernize facilities at Iraq’s Majnoon Oil Field, which holds an estimated 38 billion barrels of crude. This follows a 10-year general maintenance agreement with Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Company and a seat on a $151 billion missile defense IDIQ.

Under an Integrated Field Management Services agreement with Basra Oil Company, KBR will deliver upstream engineering, project management and maintenance services to enhance reservoir performance and modernize processing facilities at the Majnoon Oil Field, which is estimated to contain 38 billion barrels of crude reserves.
