KBR•KBR wins pre-FEED contract for Morocco ammonia project
KBR won a pre-FEED contract from ORNX Green Hydrogen for a planned world-scale low-cost ammonia project in Morocco’s Laâyoune region.
The scope includes technology licensing plus pre-FEED services for a facility targeting about 560,000 metric tons per year of ammonia.
Project design includes electrolyzer capacity and power generation
The project design assumes roughly 900 MW of electrolyzer capacity integrated with power generation, hydrogen production and ammonia synthesis.
Pre-FEED work is supported by funding from the U.S. Trade and Development Agency.
