Kearny Financial posted net income of $36.26 million for fiscal 2026, up 39.09% year over year; diluted EPS rose to $0.57.
Net interest income climbed 15.07% to $155.28 million, lifting net interest margin by 30 basis points to 2.18%.
Non-interest income rose 19.80% to $22.83 million, helped by $1.8 million of non-recurring pre-tax property-sale gains.
Non-interest expense increased 6.94% to $129.01 million, driven by higher salaries and benefits, including $950,000 of non-recurring severance charges.
Provision for credit losses fell 28.24% to $1.7 million; allowance for credit losses edged down to $45.5 million, or 0.77% of loans.
