Kelly Education Rebrands PTS to Kelly Pediatric Therapy to Address 1071:1 Psychologist Shortages
Kelly Education completed its 2022 Pediatric Therapeutic Services acquisition by rebranding PTS as Kelly Pediatric Therapy, unifying expertise under Kelly. The new division expands clinical teams and operational infrastructure to deliver early intervention, school-based, and outpatient services in response to national shortages such as the 1071:1 student-to-psychologist ratio.
1. Rebrand and Strategic Integration
Kelly Education has completed the integration of Pediatric Therapeutic Services, acquired in 2022, by rebranding PTS as Kelly Pediatric Therapy to consolidate expertise under a single Kelly Education banner.
2. Expanded Clinical and Operational Capabilities
The new division has expanded its clinical team, program offerings, and operational infrastructure to support school districts, families, and healthcare partners with occupational, physical, speech-language pathology and behavioral health services.
3. Addressing National Therapy Shortages
The rebrand addresses severe national shortages, including a 1071:1 student-to-psychologist ratio for the 2024–25 school year, state disparities exceeding 2,000:1 in Texas and Florida, and a 28% understaffing rate for mental health providers.
4. Comprehensive Service Continuum
Kelly Pediatric Therapy offers a full continuum from early intervention for birth–3, to school-based IEP support ages 3–21, and outpatient clinic care, providing flexible staffing and long-term career pathways for clinicians.
