Kennametal Q4 sales beat estimates on higher tungsten prices

Kennametal expects first-quarter sales of $745 million to $775 million with a neutral foreign-exchange impact. The company sees first-quarter adjusted EPS of $2.50 to $2.80.
For fiscal 2027, Kennametal forecasts sales of $3.33 billion to $3.45 billion and adjusted EPS of $4.15 to $5.15.
Q4 results beat estimates
Kennametal said fourth-quarter sales rose 43% to $736.61 million, above analyst expectations of $725.76 million. Adjusted earnings per share for the quarter reached $2.96, beating the consensus estimate of $2.30.
The company said the results were driven by volume growth, pricing actions and cost improvements.
