Keysight Unveils 220 GHz Lightwave Analyzer and Partners on Optical Switch Tester
Keysight introduced the N4378A Lightwave Component Analyzer for single-sweep S-parameter measurements up to 220 GHz, enabling validation of AI and data center optical transceiver components. It also teamed with Salience Labs to create the first optical circuit switch testing environment, broadening its photonics test suite.
1. Launch of N4378A Lightwave Component Analyzer
Keysight introduced the N4378A Lightwave Component Analyzer offering fully calibrated S-parameter measurements up to 220 GHz at 1310 nm and 1550 nm wavelengths. The instrument integrates with PNA-X Vector Network Analyzers and frequency extenders for single-sweep broadband testing, includes advanced software for simplified setup and measurement confidence, and will debut at OFC 2026.
2. Collaboration with Salience Labs for Optical Switch Testing
Keysight partnered with Salience Labs to develop the industry’s first optical circuit switch testing environment. This collaboration expands Keysight’s photonics test portfolio, supports validation of complex optical interconnects, and aims to accelerate development of next-generation data center and AI networking technologies.
