2. KKR Agrees to Acquire Sports-Focused Private Equity Firm Arctos Partners Valued at $1 Billion
In a strategic move to deepen its presence in the sports investment sector, KKR has agreed to acquire Arctos Partners in a transaction valuing the firm at approximately $1 billion, Bloomberg News reported. The deal will integrate Arctos’s portfolio of athlete representation, competition rights and event management assets—spanning professional leagues in North America and Europe—into KKR’s broader private markets platform.
